Fruit grafting substrates

When buying seedlings, potential fruit growers are primarily interested in the variety of fruit seedlings, at least for the type and quality of the grafted rootstock.

Fruit rootstocks affect fertility, then earlier fruiting and better fruit quality. Therefore, when buying seedlings and establishing seedlings, you should choose the substrate on which the desired variety is grafted.

For grafting, rootstocks that are easy to propagate and have a good root system, which are compatible with the appropriate desired varieties and resistant to temperature differences, diseases and pests, should be used.
