The Halls Giant is also called the Bolivian Hazelnut and the Halle Giant. It blooms late, in late January. It ripens in September. The fruit is very large, round-conical in shape. The sheath is in the plane of the fruit or slightly longer. The shell is light dark, the core is delicious. The core yield is about 36.5%. Fruits up to 5 pieces in the fork. The tree is lush and very fertile. This variety is resistant to low winter temperatures, which is why it can be grown in areas with colder climates. It is rich in pollen. It is recommended for growing in company with 2-3 more varieties in order to pollinate each other.
