Gala is a species that ripens for harvest at the end of August, and originates from New Zealand. Gale trees are medium lush, good yields. The fruits are small to medium in size. The color of the fruit is orange-reddish hue. The flesh of the fruit is whitish-yellow in color, juicy, firm, aromatic and sweet, with a high sugar content and a low percentage of acidity.
