Fruit seedlings – Blackberry

Sadnice voca Kupina

Blackberry is a perennial plant whose root always remains while the branches develop only one or two years. The height of the plants themselves can vary from 50 cm to 300 cm, depending on how strong the branches are.
It grows like a shrub and is quite branched, it is planted in rows during intensive cultivation. In that way, it is possible to form a trellis, which later facilitates the harvest. Blackberry fruit is used to make jams, marmalades, sweets, juices and wine.
Blackberry cultivation is popular because it starts to bear fruit very quickly. This happens to a certain extent in the second year, while in the third we can expect a full crop.
