The tree is vigorous, with vegetation that starts earlier, already in early April, while flowering begins around April 20. This trait allows Shejnovo walnut to avoid late spring frosts, providing a stable start to vegetation and flowering.

The fruit is large, oval in shape, with a thin and soft shell from which the high-quality kernel is easily extracted. The kernel yield (filling) varies between 53% and 57%, emphasizing the high quality of this variety.

Although Shejnovo walnut is resistant to leaf blotch, it has some sensitivity to late spring frosts, making it recommended for cultivation in warmer areas, where it will have optimal conditions for growth and development.
